We also made an accompanying podcast with portraits of these music makers. In this podcast, Aad van Nieuwkerk talks to them about their music choices. Music maker Angela de Weijer
The first episode of Music Makers is on Thursday April 24th (12:00). We kick off with Angela de Weijer, city composer of Heerlen, also known as Miss Millivolt. She is a multidisciplinary artist, composer and DJ and challenges us to listen to music in a different way. Her list of favourites is versatile and surprising, and ranges from David Bowie and Nick Cave to Julius Eastman and Ennio Morricone. Of course, her own work is also discussed.
