This year, the O.BA.O trio (formerly O.A.A.O.) celebrates its 45th anniversary. In February 2020, as part of a renewed collaboration, they’re going on tour with reed player Ab Baars. In this episode a selection of songs from the album ‘O.BA.O ontmoet Ab Baars’ from 1996. Preceded by two songs the trio did with saxello player Elton Dean at the Bimhuis in April 1983.
