Ole Hjellemo (1873-1938) was a Norwegian composer who grew up with Norwegian folk music.
As a result, he knew the folk music from the inside out, unlike other Norwegian composers who sought out Norwegian folk music and national identity from the city. He was a modest man, never traveled outside Norway, and is almost forgotten. Therefore, attention is paid to his music in this broadcast.
