Composer: Horace Silver

Episode 4: Blue Note sound.
The period of 1953-1954 was very significant for the development of the characteristics of Blue Note. The label had to deal with big investments and almost went broke, but partly thanks to Horace Silver’s hit and The Jazz Messengers “The Preacher”, Blue Note managed to recover.
