Episode 1378. In these weeks before Easter, we will broadcast the St John’s Passion and the St Matthew Passion in Bach ad Infinitum. The St John’s Passion is performed by the Ricercar Consort conducted by Philippe Pierlot, and the St Matthew Passion by the J.S. Bach Foundation conducted by Rudolf Lutz. Today, the first part of the St Matthew Passion.
