I. Asha Bhosle, timing: 21:22 min.
This compilation tries to do justice to the enormous diversity of singer Asha Bhosle. Her versatility was praised by the Bollywood composers she worked with. The earliest recordings date from 1956 and show the singer as an exotic rock ‘n’ roll chick. Asha was the middle of six children in an above-average musical family. Her success initially came with difficulty, the singer accepted every job, but due to her versatility her reputation grew quickly and she worked with the best composers and producers in India.
