In JazzNotJazz, we’ve compiled a unique mix tape from a hundred years of jazz recordings, adding some meaningful and sometimes frivolous facts. As it’s also about The Soul of Jazz, there will definitely be some detours into affiliated styles. We have (irregularly) recurring elements like “Ellington Train Songs”, “Jazz Cameo’s”, “Keith Plays Miles”, “Jazz B4 ‘44” and “More is Better”.
This episode, a nonstop programme of songs from vocalists. Yes, it’s that time of the year again: you hear songs fromt the Eurovision Song Contest everywhere. We offer some respite and an anti-dote to this, with JazzNotJazz songs and performers. Sometimes just over the edge, but still consistent or of relevant influence to receive a spot in this hour. Our list is always diverse, though this is never the main goal. We’ve compiled a nice selection again, hope you’ll enjoy!
