A weekday programme on the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach with compiler Govert Jan Bach and host Joop van Zijl.
Episode 243: a soloist portrait of Sigiswald Kuijken.
Sigiswald Kuijken is a Flemish violin player, conductor, viol player and was together with Gustav Leonhardt, Frans Brüggen, Anner Bylsma and his brothers, responsible for the authentic execution of the viol. He executed all the cantatas of Bach with the scientific based view that Bach never wrote for a choir but for a small amount of soloists.
