Govert Jan Bach’s weekday programme about the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach.
Episode 998. This Bachweek (the 200th!) is a special one: because Friday 29 October is our 1000th episode! To celebrate this anniversary episode we will be broadcasting live from Utrecht with live performances and a live audience. In our other weekly episodes we will be listening to cantatas for the 21st Sunday after Trinitatis (24 October) and in honour of Reformation Day on 31 October.
Bach party
During our 1000th episode there will be performances of Bach music by musicians who are friends of the show and other promising new musicians.
The live performances will be held at the Utrecht Podium Oost, where listeners are welcome to join after registration. Registration is open until 27 October by emailing us at bach@concertzender.nl.
