Bonum Est: a programme on Gregorian Chant. The Mass of Easter Sunday.
In the 24th episode of Bonum Est you will hear hymns of Easter Sunday Mass. You will hear alternating hymns in the Old Roman version, performed by Ensemble Organum led by Marcel Pérès.
Old Roman and Gregorian Chant have developed themselves more or less independent from one another, out of the oral tradition that supposedly existed in Rome between the fifth and ninth century.
