Last September, the Nederlandse Kamerkoor and the ensemble Le Concert Lorrain were on tour in France and Germany. In this programme, one of the best-known oratoria by Händel, Israel in Egypt. The performances during the Musikfest in Bremen, the festival l’Arsenal in the French Metz and the Baroque festival in the comparitively French Ambronay were such a succes that it was decided to make a CD out of it.
