With pianist, accordionist, composer and producer Ton Snijders, known from his cooperation with Frank Boeijen and Liesbeth List.
We visited Snijders’ studio Teclats in Velp, where, among others, the new CD ‘Echo’ of list was created. He talks about the interplay between music and text, characteristic of a good chanson. In addition to Boeijen and List, Snijders also worked with Ramses Shaffy, Stef Bos, Youp van ‘t Hek, and the young �chansonni�re Katell, winner of the Concours de la Chanson 2010. At the moment he is busy working on a new project with Sebastiaan Koolhoven, Lonesome Orchestra, an orchestra which will perform their cinematic compositions live, interspersed with spoken texts by writer Thomas Verbogt.�
