Old style Jazz. Eric Krans (1923-1975), born in Java, was a jazz pianist, bandleader and creator of jazz programmes. In 1946, he founded the Dixieland Pipers in the Netherlands. Krans was a great admirer of the music of Jelly Roll Morton and owned every single record by this pianist and other great jazz musicians.
