Live recordings from concerts with Early Music. We will hear two recordings: Ensemble Super Librum on 25 April 1997 in the Akerk in Groningen with their program ‘Ave Regina Gloriosa’. And on 31 May 2024, organist and pianist Jaap Zwart played a special concert in the Oostzijdergastkerk in Zaandam, with compositions by unknown Dutch composers who had a connection to Zaandam.
Super Librum presents a program entitled ‘Ave Regina Gloriosa’, subtitled: 13th- and 14th-century ‘Lauden’ from manuscripts from Cortona from around 1290 and Florence from around 1340.
The Dutch ensemble collaborated on this project with the well-known Argentinian soprano Maria Cristina Kiehr.
