Gesualdo, chaos theory and De Zingende Toren
We continue our series Concertzender recordings of the Gaudeamus Muziekweek 2012 from Leeuwenberg, via the Geertekerk and the Nicolaïkerk in Utrecht, to Vleuterweide in Leidsche Rijn. There stands the De Zingende Toren (The Singing Tower). Jorrit Tamminga and Luc Houtkamp wrote new pieces for this glass carillon, recorder and electronics. You will also hear bas clarinet player Marij van Gorkum in a piece by Brit John Croft and a Space Opera for string trio by Dutchman Morris Kliphuis.
