Today’s Music by Today’s Composers. Episode 23 of our series in which this generation of Dutch composers are mapped out. Who influences whom? What are important musical inspiration sources? And what drives them?
Today we look back at last 2.5 years, to continue with a new concept in March. We therefore play a number of works by composers that featured in this programme before. The list has gotten quite long, and because the composers provided the names of the next composer whose music should be played, a decent sociogram of Dutch music life was created. This is the list of featured compsers in chronologica order:
Nikos Ioakeim – Katarzyna Szwed – Giuliano Bracci – Trevor Grahl – Thanasis Deligiannis – Kaja Draksler – Máttyás Wettl – Felipe Noriega – Andys Skordis – Aftab Darvishi – Janco Verduin – Frank Crijns – Merijn Bisschops – Nicoline Soeter – Bart de Vrees – Piet-Jan van Rossum – Wilbert Bulsink – Eric de Clercq – Dirk Bruinsma – Paul Glazier – Ivo Bol – Jeff Hamburg.
