Today’s Music by Today’s Composers.
Australian composers.
In this episode of Contemporary Music, we’ll again listen to new compositions made by Australian composers. They all have something in common, but we’re only going to say what that is at the end of this episode. We’ll listen to unique sounds that vary from cockatoos to the exciting concert ‘The Witching Hour’ by Elena Kats-Chernin for eight double basses. These are all examples of eclectic diversity in contemporary Australian music.
