This episode was dedicated to the Festival Oude Muziek 2014, which was in August and September 2014 In Utrecht, including habsburg and early music from Austria and Bohemen as a theme. We will be hearing no other than the festival director and programme maker Xavier Van Damme. Violist and conductor Johannes Leertouwer will be telling us about his readings during the festival about the historical practices of Brahms. We will finish with our other special guest, the Utrecht’s carilloneur Malgosia Fiebig. She tells us her story of being a carilloneur, about her perpormance at the Festival Oude Muziek 2014 and she will play something.
