An educational programme on early music. Friday 28 August 2020, the alternative Utrecht Early Music Festival started. This festival has been organized instead of the festival as it was planned before the coronavirus pandemic. In this broadcast, you hear CD recordings of several musicians who perform on this festival.
The alternative festival consists of a number of concerts of Dutch musicians and musicians living and working in the Netherlands. These concerts take place all over the country, from the city of Groningen in the north to Maastricht in the south.
For the entire festival programme, see the site oudemuziek.nl(can be switched to English)
