Light in August is the duet project of Ann Adachi (flute, piccolo, voice) and Gregory Reynolds (alto sax, voice). Through the unconventional use of traditional woodwind instruments, they develop focused and entrancing improvisations with attention to breath, space, sound, and transformation. They have performed in Seattle, Tokyo, Boston and New York City, where they currently reside.
