This and the next episode of Dr. Klangendum are entirely dedicated to the work of the Argentinian sound designer Soll Rezza.She makes a lot of work especially for radio purposes, but she is also active as a composer and director of multimedia installations. Her work consists of people, locations and sound collages of electronic landscapes of sound, directed radio play kind of elements and materials found on the air. Her work has explicit South-American roots but is also multilingual and internationally oriented.

Sol Rezza (7/4/1982 Buenos Aires, Argentina) is sound designer, radio producer specializing in radio art, engineer recording, post production and audio mixing.
Through different techniques of recording and manipulating sounds she specializes in creating sound environment, electroacoustic compositions, soundtrack creation, creating sound effects, experimental radio, sound design for multimedia platforms and sound design for theater and installations.
Her compositions are based on the transformation of field recordings and composition using virtual instruments, experimentation with voices and foley.
Her work is characterized by unconventional form of work where experience with handling microphones, sound modified objects, field recordings and audio editing using layers of sound. Here’s how it manages a wide variety of textures in each of his compositions. The narrative and the constant play with the symbols of the language is a fundamental point throughout her work.
Co founder with multimedia artist Daniel Iván experimental space "Panz4 Troupe" where the sound design developed for experimental art pieces, video art and performance.
