Inspired by the book Self written by philosopher Barry Dainton Natasha Taylor has created a story around an existential wifi repeater and all the people who connect to it. Dictionaries define the virtual as that which is in essence but not actually so. Real without being actual tangible.
On a daily basis we travel though many different spaces and contexts and we relate ourselves within them, something happens to the mind and body when we enter into a virtual space. There is a shift in tangibility where mind and flesh do not travel in the same way. Virtual lets our minds wonder and engage in non-tangible simulations of partly recognizable representations of reality.
Browsing history can seem a bit schizophrenic, it consist of web searches that become rabbit holes that all of a sudden suddenly go down different paths.
