In 1964 Ellington, together with Billy Strayhorn, adapted the music of the Mary Poppins film upon request of Walt Disney himself. You will hear the final five parts. After that the Far East Suite (1966): a musical impression by Ellington and Strayhorn, based on their visit to the Middle and Far East.
