Conductor, composer, and pianist Duke Ellington (1899-1974) part 51. Two suites: the Degas Suite from 1968, the soundtrack composed by Ellington for the planned film ‘The Impressionists at the Racetrack’, which was never released. Afterwards the UWIS suite, composed for the Ellington festival that was held in 1972 by the University of Wisconsin.
