Conductor, composer and pianist Duke Ellington (1899-1974) part 52. Today Blues In Orbit, an album with a lot of the blues-based compositions, recorded in 1958 and 1959. Sometimes with the whole orchestra, sometimes with some smaller ensembles, mostly Ray Nance is the only trumpeter.
