The DUKE ELLINGTON programme will broadcast recordings from 1953-1955. Three recordings from the Capitol sessions which were not included in the previous two programmes, concert recordings in California from 1953 and 1954 and four pieces of Ellington’s period as a piano soloist from April 1953.
