Modern life has lost most of its rituals, but rituals have lost none of their power over the human mind. Modern society makes use of many rituals to mark the beginning of significant events, the ending of life, or ways of life, the completion of important tasks or performances. This program seeks to recreate the essence of the ritual in musical form.
