Composer Ezequiel Esquenazi.
Ezequiel Esquenazi composed pieces for orchestra, ensembles, solo instruments, electroacoustic and mixed. His works were premiered and programmed at festivals in different countries such as Switzerland, Russia, Belgium, France, Chile, Mexico, the US and Spain.
His electroacoustic pieces “Fall, memory and restitution” (2011) and “Vertiginoso Septiembre Táctil” (2020) received second prizes in the contest organized by the Destellos foundation. From the same contest, “Wind1000” (a piece commissioned by the Mixtur Festival of Barcelona) was a finalist in the 2018 edition.
Since 2018 he is a rewiever of the ICMC (International Computer Music Conference). He also collaborates with the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival.
In 2015 Kohlenstoff Records, a label based in Montreal (Canada), dedicated to accusmatic and experimental music, released their album “Conflictos con la metáfora” (Conflicts with the Metaphor).
He received commissions from Marcelo González, Electroacoustic Ensemble from DAMus (National University of the Arts), Andrés Castellani, Ensemble Tsunami, Sussane Kessel (Germany), Alkunöir Duo, among others.
