Folk magazine about past and present, from freak folk to mistrels. Nowadays, street orchestras are more than an elevated parade with blowers and drums, like you can hear in this Folk It! With a lot of virtuosity and especially a lot of fun they switch between jazz, soul, blues, rock, latin and some other surprising music styles. The protest, social involvement and a alternative lifestyle are often present but not as fiercely political as in the early days of the street orchestras. The street orchestra is alive, and close by!
