Today, ‘Genius music friends’ a programme about Mozart and Haydn starts off with the very brief but delightful aria from Mozart’s ‘Le Nozze, which we promised you before. Next, we will hear touching music of Mozart, which he played together with Haydn, shortly before Haydn left for London. The tragic String Quintet KV 516 with the jolly final. A part from the dramatic String Quintet KV 406, which turned out to be an arrangement of the Serenade for 8 wind players: KV 388,which you will hear as well. Let us know which version you find most appealing and we will play the entire works next time. thijs.bonger@concertzender.nl
