HIGHARTLOWART
"A sensation of falling occurs when the labyrinth or vestibular apparatus, a system of fluid-filled passages in the inner ear, detects changes in acceleration. This sensation can occur when a person begins to fall, which in terms of mechanics amounts to a sudden acceleration increase from zero to roughly 9.8 m/s2. However, once the body is in free fall (for example, during skydiving), there is no falling sensation. While velocity continues to increase, the downward acceleration due to gravity remains constant and is not sensed. Increasing drag force may even cause a feeling of ascent."
While falling and accelerating, one can have the sensation of floating, With closed eyes, this is much akin to dreaming, the feeling of drifting weightless in an infinite space. In this state time and space have little meaning, as all parts seem to come together to form a new whole, in which the individual coexists with his environment in the purest possible way. Of all the art forms, music can trigger the closest and most direct approximation of this feeling, as understanding or assimilation into – in other words "becoming" – is based on surrender alone, not on cultural bias or education. It is therefor simultaneously the highest and lowest form of art. Stretching these truisms to the max; it seems that Music is the way the Universe uses us to express itself. We are made of Stardust after all.
=West Coast Sound of Holland=
At the start of the 21st century the ‘West Coast Sound of Holland’ started to gain recognition for underground electronic artists like Legowelt, Orgue Electronique, Alden Tyrell and Rude 66. Around the same time, Jeroen van der Star alias TLR set up the pre-social media Global Darkness web forum to connect with like-minded music lovers around the globe and concurrently established his own label, Creme Organization.
=Creme Organization=
Originally home to local artists like Danny Wolfers – under his various guises – and Orgue Electronique, the label has since welcomed producers from around the world, including Bangkok Impact, Alexander Robotnick, JTC and Willie Burns, while releasing acclaimed albums from D’Marc Cantu, Neville Watson and DJ Overdose.
Next to running the label TLR dj’s continuously around the globe in various famous night clubs like Fabric in London and the Boiler Room.
