The baroque spirit in all his musical shapes.

Today: music from the French flautist and composer Jacques-Martin Hotteterre. He was born in 1673 or 1674, which is about 350 years ago, so we will commemorate him today in our programme.

He played the flute, and also composed for this instrument. Though many of his works, like he said so himself, can be played on recorder or violin.
