Soundtracks from films all over the world. Salomé (2002).
The film Salomé, directed by Carlos Suara, is a version of the Biblican story of Salomé, Herodes and John the Baptist. Like in Suara’s film Carmen, we can see a director / choreographer at work, we are witnesses to the rehearsals and the eventual performance. The central theme of the performance is Salome’s attraction to John the Baptist. When he rejects her, she wants revenge. Using the Spanish flamenco passion to express things, the story is filled with fire and passion.
The music for Salomé was made by the known film composer Roque Baños and is performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra led by Roque Baños.
