During this episode we will listen to a composer who a refugee twice: first fleeing the Polish uprising against Russian rule, and later the French Revolution. We are, of course, talking about Frédéric Chopin. Robert Schumann once introduced Chopin in a review with the words: ‘Hats off, gentlemen—a genius!’
