Western religious music from different centuries. Today, an episode with music composed in the southern Netherlands in the 18th century.

Pierre-Hercule Bréhy was chapel master of the collegiate church of St Gudula and St Michael in Brussels from 1705 until his death in 1737. He was succeeded by Joseph-Hector Fiocco, who had been Kapellmeister of the cathedral of Antwerp.
Willem Gommaar Kennis was the first chapel master of the St Gummarus church in the town of Lier, and of St Peters church in the town of Leuven, from 1750 until his death in 1789.
