Missa Etcetera

Western religious music from different centuries. Recently deceased Pope Francis was buried in the Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. This church employed well-known composers in the 16th to 18th centuries, such as: Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Giovanni Maria Nanino, Orazio Benevoli, Alessandro Melani and Alessandro Scarlatti. From them, we will hear a couple of religious works.
