1978: While Boney M and Blondie are ranked in the top of the hit parades with “Rivers of Babylon” and “Denis”, the Opera world is rather quiet. Beautiful, but few compositions are written. Had it something to do with the oil crisis hitting the world in that same year? Even so, there are wonderful opening performances and they are very diverse. Let’s have a look, or, rather, let’s listen.
