This is the third episode in a series dedicated to lesser-known singers from the Golden period in Egypt: The years 1930s to the early 1970s. A period of prosperity in the music and film industry. With the Egyptian capital Cairo as its center: the Hollywood of the east.
Most recordings of the singers featured in this episode were made between the 1950s and 1960s.
