Today in Pakrammel attention for native music with The Royal Improvisers Orchestra, Spinifex and Nico Huijbrechts.
The Royal Improvisers Orchestra is an international improvisation collective from Amsterdam. For some years this orchestra has been busy attracting attention and can be seen as one of the important representatives of the new generation of improvisers.
Spinifex has had several compositions including The Spinifex Orchestra and The Spinifex Tuba Band. In this broadcast attention for the Spinifex Quintet.
Recently the Nijmegen artist and composer Nico Huijbrechts released a double CD with 24 improvisation duets. On this CD Huijbrechts works together with a number of young improvisers including Simin Tander, Dion Nijland, Mete Erker, Laia Genc, Bram and Jasper Stadhouders.
