A music serial. Episode 2: Apollo.
In this episode we stay with Brian Eno and listen to his album Apollo. Apollo was written as a soundtrack for the documentary film ‘For all mankind’. The sheer emptiness of outer space and the feeling of weightlessness are represented by a clever mixture of ambient and slow country music, reaching a peak in the famous track Deep Blue Day. The opening and ending tracks, taken from the album Kite Stories, complete the circle.
