Series about and with Catalan gambist and conductor Jordi Savall. Episode 47: the new release of Jordi Savall ‘Pro Pacem.’
Jordi Savall’s latest CD “Pro Pacem: textes, art & musiques pour la paix” is supported by a book of almost 1200 pages, in 8 languages, which is fully dedicated to the peace.
The musical works originate from the 7th until the 20th century, from an early fragment of the Koran until a "Da Pacem" of 2004 which was composed especially for Jordi Savall by Arvo Pärt. Besides that there are works of Savall himself.
