A party without borders! Mixed by DJ Rafadelic
The Asian sitar, santoor and tabla sounds form the basics in this selection of tracks from the last 15 years.
You will hear many different artists, including Kaya Project, the alter ego of producer Seb Taylor from London, an instrumental edition of a track that Herbie Hancock recorded together with Anoushka Shankar in 2010, and a live track by the Russian ‘Goatika Creative Lab’. Another nice track is the re-work version of ‘Compassion’ by Bombay Dub Orchestra, that was put on the benefit CD "Let us Help Nepal", an album absolutely worth to listen to (and can be found here: somasoundsystem.bandcamp.com)
Add to that a few gems from the stables of labels like DubMission, Mole Listening Pearls and Eighteenth Street Lounge and enjoy this one-hour-long mantra to the very last second at Solta a Franga.

Rafadelic is active as a DJ and producer since the nineties. Under different names he brings a unique set for connoisseurs again and again at dance parties, cultural events and festivals. From refined jazz to solid electronic beats and from pure roots to worldly cross-pollinations. Using his own beats, samples and re-edits, he succeeds in summarizing his quest for essential music every time in a very surprising way.
