In 2012 the British tenor saxophonist Mark Lockheart (1961) did a project where he could vent his fascination for Duke Ellington’s music. In addition to the well-known works by Ellington there were also some works by Lockheart on the repertoire, and in 2013 he released the CD Ellington in Anticipation on his own label Subtone Records
