Music from Israel.
Music from Israel was recorded by the famous Indian musicologist Deben Bhattacharya and released under the Argo label and the Musidisc label in the 70s. These recordings show diverse musical cultures from the countries where the Jews settled. The emigration after the Second World War, from all parts of the world to Israel, also brought along these musical worlds.
You will hear sacral and secular music, including Spanish, Central Asian and Arabic influences.
