The wayward Prokofiev#75
During ‘the wayward Prokofiev’ we focus our attention on Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev for one hour every two weeks. Prokofiev was without a doubt one of the biggest composers of the 20th century. Today, we continue to indulge in the suite fever with Prokofiev. This is a cautious approach aimed at appeasing both the Ministry of Culture and the Composers’ Union. This episode is dedicated entirely to suite premieres from 1946.
