All-rounder David Tudor. The American composer and piano player David Tudor is truly an all-rounder and a catalyst of special experimental musical events. David Tudor(1926-1996) becomes famous as a pioneering executor of music of John Cage, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Morton Feldman. But he is also composer of the groundbreaking electronic music, a.o. for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. In this theme broadcast you will be hearing many spectacular performances, next to work of Tudor himself.
