Contemporary music rooted in tradition from the east.
With Trân Quang Haï, Jew’s harp; Xu Feng Xia, guzheng and sanxian; Wu Man, pipa; N. Ravikiran, chitravina and Abas al Shamari, darbuka and oud.

The guzheng is one of China’s oldest string instruments, dating back to about 700 BC. Xu Feng Xia plays it in a very unusual way and sometimes treats it as were it a percussion instrument. Pipa player Wu Man is one of the most well-known interpreters of the Chinese contemporary music of post-Cultural Revolution. Trân Quang Haï is a Vietnamese Jew’s harp player who plays his own compositions on different Jew’s harps that originate from Asia.
