Georg Friedrich Haas.
Today is about the Austrian composer Georg Friedrich Haas. Nowadays, Haas is considered to be one of the most important composers of our time. In 2018 he was at the heart of the Holland Festival, 2019 in November music, and today in Theme. Haas talks just as freely about his compositions and about microtonality as he does about his unconventional love life with writer and BDSM educator Mollena Williams. We will hear, among others, the now renowned In Vain, a work of which conductor Simon Rattle said was probably the first musical masterpiece of the 21st century.
