‘Songs of Love & War’
‘An elegant baritone sings the French art song in a range of atmospheres’, wrote Micha Spel in the NRC last October after the release of the CD ‘Éternelle Dualité.’ In this episode of ‘Thou Singest ye Carol’ you can hear that ‘range of atmospheres’. Several songs, Melodies, have been arranged by Wijnand van Klaveren for a very refreshing accompaniment of flute, cello and piano.
