On Wednesday, February 8th, the world-famous Dutch soprano Elly Ameling reached the respectable age of 90. Equally respectable is the enormous treasure trove of beautiful recordings she has made over the course of her long career. When someone has a birthday, they are treated. Elly Ameling offers you a lot of beautiful music during this hour, and we at Concertzender are creating a beautiful tribute for her. Congratulations, Mrs. Ameling, “And the soul, unguarded, wants to float freely on its wings.”
